PeopleAdrienne - the author. I live in historic Hollywood in a seventy year old building, with the obligatory ghosts. I am mmmmmm years old (you might find out in some chapter how old I really am). People have told me that I look a little like Susan Hayward, except that my hair is black cherry, the same color that Lori uses. Of course, I'm an Aquarian Rooster. Alejandra - Maria's daughter. I just love this seven year old wonder. She's so smart and easy to talk to, and she worries about me. She calls me Mom sometimes, and I feel as if I have a daughter without the pain of childbirth. Ann- Ann lives in the building and she is a emergency room nurse. Ann has a son who is an actor, who you might have seen on ER, and a daughter, who you might have seen in the neighborhood. Ann is a great person and friend, and a writer as well. I wish her the best in all her endeavors. Don't have the usual information on her either. Barbara - my best friend (now if you're reading this and you are offended that I didn't name you as best friend, that doesn't mean I don't like you any less, I just haven't known you as long). Biba looks like Lauren Tewes from the Love Boat, only younger and prettier (sorry Lauren). Barbara is a Sagitarian Dog. Biba - see Barbara. Her little brother Gary couldn't pronounce Barbara when he was little, so the name stuck. I only call her Barbara when I'm mad at her or something. The only problem is, people always mispronounce her name, Biva, Bebe, etc. Carlos - Douglas's boss. He is one of the kindest, most considerate people I know. He is also constantly after Douglas to get jobs finished in a timely fashion and stop messing around. I can't really tell you who Carlos looks like, except to say that he looks like my Uncle Hamilton, and you'll have to leave that to your imagination. Christopher - the old man is an Aquarian Snake. He is tall and thin and has had numerous face and eye tucks to keep the age away. Sorry, Chris, despite coloring your hair, and tucking everything in, and wearing turtle neck sweaters even on hot summer days, you still look old. Chris - the younger. I really don't have that much information on him, but he lives in my building, and he's an actor and he's very attractive, and there is some relevance to this. However, since he's really a bit player, we may never come to him. Daniel - Daniel will always hold a special place in my heart, forever and ever. Daniel is fifteen years younger than I am, but he is a serious Virgo person, so he seems older than his years. Daniel looks like John Belushi, and he has a great, infectious laugh, and a very unique walk. He's a lot of fun. If you're a girl, and you run into him, go out with him. You won't regret it. Daniel is a Virgo Pig. Douglas - What can I tell you? He's over six feet tall, blond, tan, weighs somewhere around one eighty. Douglas is a Sagitarian Rooster, and if you know anything about Chinese astrology, you might be able to figure out how old we are. At first I couldn't really think of anyone famous he looks like, and then I was looking at him this morning, while he was sleeping, and noticed he looks like Errol Flynn with short hair. Let me just say he has the most sexy eyes and smile I've ever seen. Doesn't look bad sleeping in the sun with a pair of shorts on either. Gary - Biba's brother. What can I say? This man has the best body I have ever seen. He has a rugged, handsome face, with blond hair (same color as Douglas'), and a mustache to cover up a scar (you'll read about the scar soon). Gary is a sensitive and caring Piscean Rat. Frank - Christopher's roommate. Frank is not as old a Christopher, and I am told, was very handsome when he was young. Frank is Italian and over weight. Frank always has a five o'clock shadow, but, he's funny. Frank is also "bipolar", in that he has serious mood swing changes, and he'll turn on you like a snake. Frank is a Leo, but since I don't know his age, I can't tell you what he is in Chinese. Helen - My Mom. Helen is not my real mother, but she and I are close enough to be mother and daughter. Helen is married to Tony, who I call Dad. When I was having severe roommate problems (no, not Douglas), Helen supported me through everything. Helen and Tony take trips often, and Mom always brings me a little present. Helen is a sociologist, has had her own television show, started the idea of gift stores in hospitals, has adopted a total of six kids (not including the ones that adopted her), knows how to fly a plane, can drive a truck, can tell any contractor what he's doing wrong in his construction, and is an excellent Leo cook. If you would like to know more about Helen, please visit her web page, or see some of her recipes. Jean - Gary's Mom. My other Mom. I love this lady a lot, because she is fun to be with, and I have always received good advice from her. Jean is a beautiful woman, who has black hair, just imagine Biba older with black hair and you'll see Jean. Jean and Raymond have been married forever, and they're so cute together because Raymond still likes to play with his wife, and she likes playing with him. They have the most stable marrige of anyone I know. They should give out advice on keeping a marrige alive. Jean is also a great cook, and she makes the best home fries and sausage gravy you've ever had. Joan - the Virgin. Joan has been a wonderful friend to me, helped me move, helped me clean up after parties, kept me company when I thought I was losing my mind. I met Joan at Birds one night, she came over to my apartment, and we stayed up talking all night. I never went to sleep, I just went to work the next day. Joan comes from the south, and has a lovely southern accent. She's a little younger than I am, wears glasses and has long brown hair that I would kill for. Joan is an Aquarian with Taurus rising, very stubborn. Josef - my partner. Josef and I have known each other for about fifteen years. We used to work together at Kennedy Cabot, and then when he wanted to do a commodity page on the web, he asked me to create and maintain the site, OWLREP Educational. Josef originally comes from Israel, so I think sometimes his ideas are a little strange. Josef is a Libra. Maria - the mother of two of Carlos' children, Eric who is six, and Stephanie who is three. Alejandra is the product of another man. Maria is short and squat, kind of like an avacado. She speaks no English and understands very little. I speak and understand very little Spanish, so our communication is not that great. Marissa - my other best friend (same disclaimer). Marissa is very, very pretty, blond and all the guys flock to her like moths to the flame. Marissa is a makeup artist, and a hell of a lot of fun. This is another one I really can't tell you looks like someone famous. Marissa is a Gemini Rooster, the only person I know who can walk into a room in one mood, and then be completely different when she comes out, in five seconds, no less. Randy - my brother. Randy
is not my real brother, but I call him that. Randy became my brother
when he moved in with Helen and Tony,
who I call Mom and Dad, hence brother. Randy and I worked together,
and he was always able to make me laugh, and sometimes I got in trouble
for it. Randy was always getting in trouble for walking away from his desk.
If you ever meet Randy, you will know who he is right away. He walks
up to complete strangers and says, "Hi, I'm Randy...." and because he's
so friendly, he'll know all about you in two minutes
Ripley - an interesting person. I've known Ripley for about four years. I met him one night in the lobby and he invited me for a drink down the street and I accepted. I liked Ripley, he was fun, exciting and dangerous. Ripley was a Ranger in the Viet Nam war, then became a stuntman and double for some very famous actors. He has a lot of movie credits, but I am not going to divulge them here. I have tried to protect everyone's anonimity in these pages, and if I revealed the name of even one of his movies, you would know who he was, so you will just have to do with a little musing he wrote that I published on this site. You owe it to yourself to take a look at A Moment with Ripley. Tony - my father, also known as The Commodore. Tony is not my real father, but we are close, and he does give me fatherly advice and affection. Tony and I worked together, and one day he invited me for dinner, where I met his bride to be, Helen. Tony and I occasionally do things together that make Helen wince, like tell each other lewd jokes or even worse, having burping contests. Tony is the current President of the Hollywood/Los Angeles Council of the United States Navy League. He is a very determined Capricorn, and married his bride, Helen, on his birthday. Easy for everyone to remember. There are other people, and I'll get around to listing them all here. If there's someone who you need more information on, and they are not listed here, then please email me, and I'll put them up as soon as I can.
